My educational degrees include a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a Master's Degree, and an Ed.S. in Curriculum.

My name is Jennifer Underwood.  I grew up in Six Mile, SC. and attended D.W.Daniel High School in Central SC.   After graduating from Lander University, where I received a B.S. in Elementary Education, I went on to earn my Masters and Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.  I married the love of my life, Jerry, and have 3 beautiful children that keep us very busy!

I have been teaching for 17 years, two of which were in Pickens County, SC and the other 15 in various counties from South Georgia to Northwest Georgia.  I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, and 5, as well as self contained EIP.   This will be my 7th year as an Academic Coach.  I love, love, love my job as it provides me with the opportunity to learn and grow professionally with a wonderful group of teachers, students, and administrators that support Franklin County's goal of creating life-long learners that provide students with the proper tools to prepare them for the challenges of tomorrow.
