Bio

My name is Aubrey Maisonneuve. I was recently married in March, and my husband and I relocated to Royston to open a coffee shop at Emmanuel College. I grew up in Hart County, but I graduated from Oglethorpe County High School in 2012. I had not been back in the area since I had moved schools, so it is nice to be back home. After high school, I attended the University of Georgia as a freshman. I transferred to Brenau University my sophomore year to compete in track and field and pursue my education degree. I graduated from Brenau in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in education. This is my second year teaching, and I absolutely love my job. Last year, I co-taught Geometry and Advanced Mathematical Decision Making at Oglethorpe County High School as a special education teacher. Growing up, however, I always wanted to be a math teacher, so I am blessed to be able to live out my dream here. I hope to inspire my students to live out their dreams as well.
