I graduated from Stephens County High School in 2006. I pursued a college degree at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Ga. I graduated in the fall of 2010 with an Associate's of Science in Nursing. I continued my education and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree in 2013. I plan to continue to further my education by going back to school for a Master's degree in Nursing Education. I am currently pursing my GaTAPP certificate at Pioneer RESA in Cleveland, Ga.

I started working as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) out of high school and continued to do so throughout college. I have always had a love for people & how the human body works. After graduating college, I have worked at Stephens County Hospital as a registered nurse for the past seven years. In addition to the hospital, I worked with the University of North Georgia and North Georgia Technical College as a clinical instructor for nursing students. It is very important to me to stay current in the field of nursing, so I continue to work occasionally at SCH to maintain my nursing skills.

Hello! My name is Hilliary Bentley. I am originally from Stephens County but moved to Franklin County when I married my high school sweetheart. My husband, Josh, also works at FCHS in SPED and is a basketball and track coach. We have a one year old daughter named Lillian who keeps us very busy! Quality family time is of upmost importance to me. That is really where we spend our free time these days as well. This is my second year of teaching at the high school level. I am very excited about this opportunity to do the two things I love simultaneously: nursing and teaching. I love to see young minds grasp a concept and get excited about their potential career path. My desire is to help them to find their passion and to gain job experience in the medical field prior to college.
