I graduated from Stephens County High School in 2006. I pursued a college degree at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Ga. I graduated in the fall of 2010 with an Associate's of Science in Nursing. I continued my education and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree in 2013. I plan to continue to further my education by going back to school for a Master's degree in Nursing Education.

I started working as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) right after high school and continued to do so throughout college. I have always had a love for people & how the human body works. After graduating college, I have worked at Stephens County Hospital as a registered nurse for the past six years. In addition to the hospital, I worked with the University of North Georgia and North Georgia Technical College for the past four years as a clinical instructor for nursing students.

Hello! My name is Hilliary Bentley. I am originally from Stephens County but moved to Franklin County six years ago when I married my high school sweetheart. My husband, Josh, also works in the school system at LES. We have a seven month old daughter named Lillian who keeps us on our toes! Quality family time is of upmost importance to me. That is really where we spend our free time these days as well. This is my first year of teaching at the high school level. I am very excited about this opportunity to do the two things I love simultaneously: nursing and teaching. I love to see young minds grasp a concept and get excited about their potential career path.
