I have taught English in the Georgia public schools for twenty years. I live in Clarkesville with my husband and our nine year-old daughter.  We enjoy traveling and hiking as a family.  I am excited to see the publication of my book, Women on Southern Stages, 1800-1865: Performance, Gender, and Identity, which will be available from McFarland Press fall, 2016.
