Graduated from Banks County High School in Homer, GA in 2008.

Received my B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in English from Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, GA in 2012.

Received my M.A.T. in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia in 2014.

Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College in progress (graduate Spring 2018).


Dual certified in Mathematics and English, grades 6-12.

Taught Analytic Geometry, Analytic Geometry Support, Journalism, and Creative Writing at Lumpkin County High School in Dahlonega, GA during 2014-2015 school year and was the Yearbook Advisor.

Became Assistant Director of Mathnasium of West Forsyth during 2015-2016 school year.

Second year teaching math at Franklin County High School.


I grew up in Commerce, GA and went to school in Banks County. In high school, I played tennis and was captain of the Color Guard. I was valedictorian of my graduating class.

In undergrad, I attended Emmanuel College where I was president of the Math Club and a member of the drama group.

After working for a year in the banking industry, I decided to pursue my education graduate degree at the University of Georgia.

Soon after, I married my husband, Andrew, and we live in Bowersville, GA with our guinea pig, Chandler, and our dog, Kero.

My hobbies include reading, writing, and watching wrestling. I am also the color guard instructor for the marching band.
