About Us

Franklin County High School is the home of the Lions.  School colors are kelly green and white.  Student enrollment is approximately 1200. FCHS offers a comprehensive curriculum with a concentration in career tech and/or fine arts programs.  Opportunities are available for students to participate in a variety of athletic events.

Franklin County High School is located in Carnesville, Georgia.

 FCHS Purpose Statement:

As one lion pride at FCHS, our purpose is to inspire, challenge, support, and prepare our students through a high-quality education to compete both locally and globally.

Franklin County High School will graduate lifelong learners of strong character who can communicate effectively, think critically and creatively, and be productive members of a diverse society.
